The Ongoing Voters Registration In Nigeria is expected to end, to get your permanent voters Card (PVC), if you don’t have one, you need to visit the INEC online registration portal to start your registration process, then visit any accredited centre for biometric capturing.

What is INEC Online Registration Portal?

INEC online registration portal is a website where eligible voters can update their voter’s information, register for a permanent voter card, transfer voting location to another polling unit, get updates about the commission, find out where to collect their PVC, and replace lost or damaged PVC.

Ever since INEC embraced the continuous voter registration process in 2017, it has been on the lookout for simpler ways to make voter registration easier. This brought about the introduction of the INEC online registration portal in June 2021. The portal is designed to be more accessible and user-friendly.

INEC brought out the online registration portal to decongest the population of eligible Nigerians who wish to register at their registration centers. Not only did the process reduce the number of people in INEC registration centers, but it also reduced the time of registration. Through the online process, prospective registrants can schedule appointments for the verification process. They can also monitor their application from the comfort of their own home.

INEC Voters Card Online Registration

As we have explained the reason for the INEC online registration process, the commission made the registration process be in sequential form. The INEC online registration process starts from the login in process on the portal down to the steps towards registering for the voter card.

Please keep in mind that the portal is only available to people who have never registered their PVC previously. If your card is lost or you wish to change your information for a new card, there are alternative methods on the site.

Before continuing, bear in mind that you can only register once on the portal. Wait for confirmation after submitting your application and then avoid registering twice. Otherwise, you stand the chance of your registration being invalid because signing up multiple times is considered a crime.
