#PDPPresidentialPrimary: Governor Aminu Tambuwal Steps Down For Atiku Abubakar

The Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal has stepped down for Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar in the ongoing Special Convention of the People’s Democratic Party.

Announcing his decision to step down for Atiku, Tambuwal cited the need to close ranks within the party and guide against rancor.

The PDP presidential Primary is currently ongoing, from our analysis, the race is between Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, and Governor of River State, Nyesom Wike.

“I Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, having consulted widely…. have come to the firm believe and conviction that as leaders time may come in our sojourn to make sacrifice for the good of our people. In view of the situation of the country and the need for us in the party to minimize rancor and jostling for power, in any case it is not always about an individual, it must always be about our country.

“I have come to the conclusion that, to the glory of God almighty … from the result we have seen throughout  the country millions of Nigeria suffering and the need for us close rank within the party and as one of the leader of this party, I have come to a patriotic conclusion  to step down my aspiration and not only that to appeal to my supporters to take this in good stride and in interest of national unity, and patriotism.. those who are delegate here should vote for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar
